Today lunch was 3.86 euros. I'm done complaining.
What I love about the canteen is that there are glass carafes sprinkled around on all of the tables. You pick up a carafe and fill it from a machine in the corner and you enough water for two.
I also love whatever I had for lunch. The guys in my group tried to explain that it was a river fish with a long nose and big teeth. I said that sounded like crocodile. Upon returning to the office and consulting the French/English dictionary, it turned out to be pike.
