For Sale, but Not Really

Here’s a mean trick the French play:
Since we were in the market for a car, I was in the habit of looking for “A Vendre” signs in car windows. More than a few times I’d see a cool car, like this snazzy Peugeot 207, from a distance with a sign in the window and think “Wow, there’s a nice car for sale”. Upon approaching, I’d see the price in bold letters: 6500 euros. A Peugeot 207 for 6500! I'll take it!


And then when I get close enough to read the details of the sign, I find that they’re actually advertising a crappy Opel minivan. False advertising!
