Geo-Caching

Yesterday my friend Kathryn flew in from Michigan for her first trip to Paris. On our way back from the airport, she told us that she has recently gotten into geo-caching. So in an effort to stave off her jet-lag, we spent the afternoon on a treasure hunt.

The cache we went searching for was located in the opposite corner of Paris in the Bois de Vincennes. We tromped past ponds, over bridges, and through woods with a handheld GPS before finding the cache in a tree stump. It was full of travel bugs, coins, and little toys.

It was kind of anti-climatic, but I'd definitely do it again.
