This past Sunday Levallois-Perret hosted a bicycle race right here in town. The course ran along rue President Wilson, which is only a block and a half from our apartment. We walked down to watch for a while, and were surprised to find how short the course was. In fact, it only seemed cover about five square blocks. The same lap, 60 times. At least it kept our interest, because the peleton zoomed by about once every three minutes. I don't suppose they got tired of turning left?
