The End of Olympics, French Style
So the Olympics are over, and I guess international teasing at work will settle down for now. France came in 7th in the medal count, but they'll always find another way to knock the Americans. Last week I heard from a few different people that NBC paid an undetermined amount of money to China to get the Michael Phelps swimming finals moved to prime time in the US. And, of course, prime time in the US is about 2:00 a.m. here, which means that we missed out on most of the finals in Europe. Those big bad Americans and all their cash, ruining the Olympics for the rest of us.

What I love about this ad is that an olympic torch is something really hot that some guys pass to one another. She's gonna have a tough night :þ
